Starting this Tuesday for three nights there's a programme called Arctic Live starring Gordon Buchanan & Kate Humble looos interesting.

A bit lacking in actual wildlife?

It became almost a social discussion on the pros and cons of oil and gas extraction.

Feeling a little disappointed here - love to know more about the Polar Bears and their lives hint to Gorden please ;)

Hopefully the programme will be more wildilfe friendly tonight :t:

Just watched the second programme, if anything even less wildlife action, it's basically a travel and socio-economic programme.

Disappointing

They may just have well made a film using Simon Reeves parts and add in a few archival Polar Bears pieces, the two 'live' presenters are pretty pointless.

First episode rating was about 2.5m, down to 2m last night. I watched them but fast forwarded through 2/3rd of it. The live bit has been rather underwhelming. If the beats insist on sleeping, how about going off to find some foxes? (Which I believe are common in the area at this time of year).
