Hello everyone!

I am new to the forum and thought I should say hello. I am a very casual birdwatcher and do most of my watching from either the local gardens or nature reserves that are close to my area. Would love to hear about more places to go birdwatching in Ireland! If you have any suggestions do tell! o:D

Hi Donovan and a warm welcome to you from all the Staff and Moderators.

I'm sure you will enjoy it here and I look forward to hearing your news.

Hello Donovan and welcome to BirdForum!

I would highly recommend "Finding Birds in Ireland: The Complete Guide" by Eric Dempsey and Michael O'Clery. I found it invaluable when I was there earlier this year.

Welcome Donovan, and don't forget about Nimmo's Pier right in the heart of Galway City. Never know what you'll see there.
