Alexander's Swift (1 Viewer)

Thank you very much Valéry. It's not easy getting these fast-moving birds, is it.

Hi Delia,

Just lucky... and the photos are not that good. The bluish tinge on one of the photos is sowing a feature not shown in litterature. Rumours of a Bates's Swift or undescribed species from Capve Verde were published about 10 years ago; I bet Alexander's Swift is still little known but it shows this blue is some light and plumage.

Cheers

Hi Valéry I finally picked one to use (as it seemed to show best a palish head), but in view of what you've said just now, I wonder if I've made the right choice.

Is it the middle one you're referring to, that shows the 'bluish tinge'? Perhaps I should include all on the page then?

I wouldn't mind adding a date to the image, if you could let me know when you were there.

Hi Delia,

Yes, I think the "blue" one (in the middle) is very interesting. Date: 28-03-2012. You might indeed add on the page, why not?

Cheers

V.
