What a fantastic day. Finally laid my biggest bogey to rest. Lesser spotted woodpecker at wooloton park in notts. To top it all it was a drumming male. Back up cast of green and greater for the full set, great grey shrike and then first summer migrant of the year a pair of osprey at rutland water, and singing chiff chaff in the sunshine.
all together now to the tune of bay city rollers...........Bye bye bogey, bogey bye bye8-P B :)
