UK Book Shipping Rates (1 Viewer)

Hi all-

Anyone know about what it would cost to ship, say Hayman's "Shorebirds" from the UK to the Czech Republic?

Birding World's book shop wants just over 11 pounds and I think it's outrageous.

Thanks.

That does sound a lot. Have you looked elsewhere e.g. NHBS.co.uk or wildsounds.co.uk ? I often order books from Amazon.co.uk, but he problem here is that Amazon add the Danish VAT (25%) which increases the price substantially.

Thanks, Stuart, I'll check out those sites.

In the meantime, I've been on the site of the Royal Mail, and no matter how you slice it, the above-mentioned shipping charges are out of line.

Birding World's shop charges for shipping to the Czech Republic as "the rest of the world", whereas the Royal Mail rightly includes us in "Europe".
