Hi,

Just writing to ask about the best publication of birds vocalizations for Scotland or United Kingdom.

And how I can obtain (buy, etc) one copy.

I am living in Scotland since September 27th and I really need to learn vocalizations.

I don't know that there are any publications specifically for Scotland but there are some for Britain. I like Geoff Sample's guide:

Hi Manuel

In addition to the books available, there is also the Xeno-Canto website from which you could probably put together your own collection of calls/songs etc covering the Scottish bird species. Worth a look at least.

I recorded and uploaded some vocalizations of scottish birds in xeno-canto (last winter). I am looking for a good and complete compilation to upload in my iPod.
