Hmm
Dunno. But thank you both anyway.

My two books have the male with dots on the wings.
Aren't they variable? Maybe its a second hatching or something?

This should be a male of the Spring brood. The Summer brood has the black dots. See images on the BC website (https://butterfly-conservation.org/butterflies/green-veined-white).
