New Kowa TSN-663M scopes (1 Viewer)

It appears that Kowa are bringing out a new version of their 663 and 664 scopes, to be known as TSN-663M. Details are rather scant, though a few examples are already showing up on Ebay and Japanese websites. Apparently, they will be released early in 2015.

From what I can gather, in colour the scopes will look very like the 883. I imagine that optically there may not be many differences with the earlier version. If the 'M' suffix is similar to the situation with the 823, then I would guess that what has changed has been a strengthening of the body materials used.

There's also apparently going to be a new 20-60x zoom eyepiece, the TSE-59B (c. 339 euros). Some details on Binomania:

Interesting to see what happens with this!

Any more news on that new zoom (TSE 59B)?

can't find anything on kowas web-pages about this zoom,
and in the PDF for the new 660M scopes it's the old that is displayed.

Could it be a mixup with this?

Price for the 660M seems to be in the range of the Swaro ATS65 but,
If the 663M is to compete, a new WA zoom is needed, is my opinion.
The 30xW is nice though.

Yes, I was searching the other day and also wondered whether this was a typo and actually referring to the old 20-60 zoom... Agree too though that the 30x is great.
