Silver-line from Cork last night, There do not appear to be Irish records of Green in September and there are no records of Scarce here. Unless something else more exotic???

Has to be Green Silver-lines.

The book states ' one generation May-July with occasional individuals in Aug-Sep possibly of a second generation'.

Agreed, another report last week in Ireland, so 2nd brood is now a thing in Ireland

Shape is wrong, white lines are too far apart and you'll rarely see the orange edge to the wing in Scarce which also has white legs..

Looks just like this illustration to me.
