A visit to the very new Adwick Washlands RSPB reserve which is still an ongoing construction although suspended for breeding season gave me three more ticks. This flood plain for the River Dearne which was under cultivation is being reverted back to flood plain and will be fabulous as it changes. With many species present already.

96 Grasshopper Warbler
97 Stockdove
98 Little Gull

The best news however its about 1 mile from home.

Finally found the Barn Owl which I was informed about, hunting the same area.
After two weeks of searching with binnoculars no luck , passing the area I had
a look and low and behold there it was , no binnoculars , there must be a message for me always have binnoculars at hand.
