What bird is this ? China (1 Viewer)

Female house sparrow (probably - not sure what the sparrow options are in China) (where in China?) in very harsh light.
 
I'd go for House Sparrow. In my experience in Japan, the eyebrow of female Russet Sparrow behind the eye leaps out at you as distinctive (see attachments). And the back markings also are very strong compared to House Sparrow, although we can't see these in the overlit photo of the OP. But these birds are usually in flocks - does the OP not have any other photos, especially of the males with this bird?
