I just wanted to say 'hi', since I've been lurking for some time now. I've been working on strengthening my shorebird ID over the last month or so, and after I exhausted my reference collection, I eventually found that the ID Q&A section makes for a great resource in that regard. I've found that looking at the unknowns, making my own ID, and then reading the thoughts of more experienced birders here has really contributed to my understanding of the shorebirds.

So, anyway, thanks for the great resource! I'd like to eventually start digiscoping, so maybe one day I'll be able to contribute some photos of my own.
