Mystery of the missing Archaeopteryx specimen (1 Viewer)

Hi Fred,

Mystery of the missing Archaeopteryx specimen that was once kept under the bed of owner Eduard Opitsch but disappeared after his death. Was it destroyed or will it eventually show up? (in German)

Thanks a lot for the link!

The article points out that a friend of Opitsch said the specimen still existed a couple of days before Opitsch' death, and that there are no factual reasons to believe that it was destroyed (other than its disappearance).

Regards,

Henning
