The competition theme for October 2005 is 'Camouflaged Bird'.

As there were ony 35 entries this month all have been added to the voting booth.

Please select your favourite entry and cast your vote.

The booth will remain open for the next seven days after which the winner will be announced.

Great pictures everyone, very hard to choose!
Oh by the way, I noticed that a few of the photos were not included in the slide show (for instance "Tree Stump or Common Potoo?" and "Hiding in Plain Sight") was this an error or did my computer skip it or something? I was just wondering. |=)|

I actually found it easy to pick my favourite one this month a truly excellent shot and it fitted with the theme. There were some other very good pics but this one really caught my eye.

Everything seems to be woking fine for me. I have redone the link just in case anyone else has similar problems. If the sevreal people still have this problem I'll remove the link to the slideshow.

Results of the voting for the October competition

Results of the October 2005 competition with the theme 'Camouflaged Birds' -

1st - Gaga with Eastern Screech-Owl having attracted 46/123 votes.

2nd - jamangus with Hiding in Plain Sight attracting 20/123 votes.</SPAN>

3rd - Mybs with Spotted Eagle Owls attracting 13/123 votes.

Congratulations to each of you and to every one who entered and thank you to everyone who participated in the voting :t:

The entries will be left in place for a few days after which they will be moved to their appropriate forums. Details of the next theme challenge will then follow.
