Coney Meadow and Adjoining Areas (5 Viewers)

Probably best starting off with the DCLG website with the various links and documents attached thereto: https://www.gov.uk/guidance/town-and-village-greens-how-to-register

For a slightly more involved read the Open Spaces Society website is useful: http://www.oss.org.uk/what-we-do/village-greens/

Attached also are couple of links to applications elsewhere in Worcestershire to give you a flavour; would be interesting to find out if these was successful

Beautiful sunny morning in Salwarpe. Was delighted to watch a couple of brimstone butterfly's fluttering along canal corridor.

Loads of bird song, lovely jubbly.

Had a very quick look in some of the village ponds last night and three in village have great crested newts, smooth newt population seems higher than in previous years and saw a solitary toad in the Salwarpe Court pond. Numbers of gcns are low, I suspect breeding season is pretty much done and dusted as I first recorded egg laying here on 9th of Dec. Why can't they read the guidelines?

Triturus
