When I fished at Sandwich bay I "made friends" with a Crow. I used to feed it pieces of sprat by holding my hand out and the crow would creep up and take it...but...…..only if I avoided eye contact. Directly I looked at it it would back off a yard or two.

Crow got so used to me that It would appear close behind me when almost as soon as I arrived, I would be setting up and suddenly realise "MY Friend" was back.
