a brief note on the Audubon ED focus and cold (1 Viewer)

I have been putting a few of my porros in the freezer to check the effect of cold on the efficiency of the focus wheel.
I just pulled my Audubon 8.5x ED (armored, about 9-10 years old) out of the freezer. Definitely sluggishness, but would be usable if necessary.

Lucky dog, owning that highly coveted binocular. Not many warblers around when it's 0F, so it all works out.
