My wife and I live in East Dorset and spend a lot of time walking in the New Forest and along the coast from Lymington to Poole. While we go birding, we enjoy all wildlife/nature.
We met at Merrist Wood College while undertaking training to become wildlife rangers/wardens and went onto study at university as field biologists. I went on to complete post graduate study as a biometrist. We both spent a spell working as environmental scientists but now do others things.
Before starting my formal education, I spent around 2 years working as a full time volunteer for the RSPB working and living on site. I worked at Pulborough Brooks (before it opened to the public) and Killiecrankie, in Perthshire.
We hope to be able to make a positive contribution to the forum.
Regards, PJPro.
