Hi all, my life list is maintained in various paper journals, and now as it is approaching a milestone, it's time to transfer it to an e list. Being not that keen on computers and also being a mean Scotsman, I wonder if anyone could advise the best kind of computer based listing device. Ideally I'd like one which attaches a picture to species entered, makes it easier to interest the kids in Dads boring birds ! Thanks in advance, John

There's a batty little thing called Tickem that some friends of mine are very keen on using. using. It's free-ware.
I just use excel.

Hi John

Brilliant, thanks all, I am trying a programme called Birdtrack maintained by the BTO...the good thing about it is that it automatically sends your observations to the relevant county recorder.... great !
