Field Guide for Southeast Asian birds (1 Viewer)

AntarcticanShrike

What's This?
Does anyone know a good field guide for southeast asian birds? I've been birding for six months solely by learning from the Internet and am looking to expand my knowledge. :)

AS,

Note that there are two versions of the Robson guide. Andrew has linked to the second edition of the full guide. There is also an earlier concise version of that guide that came out in 2005, and is smaller and lighter, so better suited for carrying around in the field:

Also, if you want Malaysia-specific information, and want to know the local Malaysian names, there is the second edition of A Field Guide to the Birds of Peninsular Malaysia and Singapore by Allen Jeyaraajasingam. I think of it as a good supplement to the Robson book. You can see my review of that book here:

Thanks! The Malaysia-specific one will be useful. :)
