I'm an Australian, 50 yo, living about half way between Sydney and Canberra. I've got a small property (25 acres) located at the top of the ranges near Marulan and my wife have been feeding the local birds since we got here, 9 years ago. We don't try to tame them as there are poachers in the area, but we've got a large batch of regulars- King Parrots, Ganggangs, Crimson Rosellas, a Satin Bowerbird and his harem, magpies, glossy black cockatoos, red-browed finches and too many currawongs (pied and black). Despite our best efforts we've got one magpie who'll come into the house, if we're not careful, to sit in front of the heater. Pushy (what else would you call him?) won't be discouraged.

I'm not a good photographer and only have a C-750 digicam, but I may be able to fill in a few blanks in the gallery. I'll add one of a male King Parrot, shortly.

Cheers.
