Hello there,

Was about to delete some old picks in order to make some space in my hdd and came around this fella.

It is overexposed and not too much in focus, but maybe some sharp eye or familiar with the species could help us out.

So far I got an idea from a friend about Pacific Golden Plover. But came here for more opinions.

Cheers.

Looked a bit too black on the rump. But might be the legs imo.

You mean the undertail coverts. It might be the legs together with the harsh light. However, the gleaming white underwing coverts and axillaries are the key features to look at this flight shot, and are at odds with both American and Pacific.
