Hearing Aids for Birding (1 Viewer)

As you all know, listening for bird calls and songs is a key part of bird identification. My problem is that my hearing has deteriorated for the high frequencies.

I discussed use of hearing aids with a birder who wears one in each ear. He said he was disappointed, in that they did not help very much.

Has anyone had good experience with using the newer computerized hearing aids to enhance hearing of bird calls and songs? Any particular brands that work well?

Thanks in advance for any help!!
