Marine phytoplankton and our miserables lifes

It is very likely, that phytoplankton is declining at frightening rate. Because it is main producer of the oxygen on Earth, we can suffocate one day (?). As a result of pollution of oceans. Although global warming is indicated as a probable cause of this decline.

However the oxygen content remains stable so far. But lets kill all ugly phytoplankton !!!
