I'm excited about watching the progression of this one, Arthur. Great dynamic composition and the raptor glare is already in place.
 
Had a lazy day yesterday but got it finished today Grandchildren here for a week soon.

Wonderful, Arthur! Whatever is the focus of the bird's bad intentions is in for some trouble, I think...! Great movement in the image.
 
Very successful Arthur. You could tell right off that the bird would look strong, with that strong gaze that John notes. But also the composition of those wing tips sitting just above the treeline. It really adds some interest to the picture. All adds up to a very appealing painting.
 
Stonking! I thought the bird was going to be the only element but adding the hedge has given this a story element too.
