Bramberg, I'm afraid the price of the Kite Lynx is beyond the budget of tocirahl, since they are usually above the 400 €/$ mark, and he/she seems to be looking for something in the 120-170 $ region.
With that in mind, my vote will go to the Kowa YF 8x30 (or it's Leupold sibling, the Yosemite, that can be found for way less than that). I know porro style binoculars are not for everyone, but if you don't mind the wider shape (which is incidentally a joy to hold), the YF provide a stunning view for the money: sharp, bright and with the plasticity and 3D-esque view only porros provide). My advice would be to at least try them.
Or else, simply wait for a second hand unit of some of the above mentioned binoculars.
As for the Lynx, its Nikon relative (the Monarch 7 8x30) can be found second hand for around 200 €/$, a great performer for the price too if you find one.
Do let us know what you finally decide to get.
