I'm very excited finding a topic in this forum discussing about bird sighting in Malaysia.
I've been to Kuala Selangor Nature Park once and I'm looking forward to go there again. During the previous visit in Feb this year, I only managed to see Egret and Eagle when I was there at about 4pm. But base on some websites, there are more birds to be seen. I wonder if I went there at the wrong season.
I would appreciate if anyone could give me a pointer when is the right time to go there.

Thanks.

Well my friend if you want to see birds at K.S...be there by 8am..the birds you could see are Common Flame Back,Stork Bill Kingfisher,..pigeons ,common Kingfisher,Collared Kingfisher near the wet land pond area, cuckos and Malokhas..Purple Herons, egrets, little Herons..bubuls..olive-backed sunbirds,Grey Herons and Great Tits if you are lucky..many more which i cant think of now.Regards.:t:

For the birds mentioned any time..they are resident there..if you are lucky you may find the Greater Flameback too..which i had a flitting view only..regards.:t:

G'day Mate, One of the best places in BF is to check out Dr Manjeets Patch and you will find a wealth of information on birdlife in Malaya plus a lot of bellyaching laughs to go with it.
