Hi, I'm brand new to this forum. I have two green cheek conures I really adore. They love seeds, especially sunflower and safflower and have been eating a pretty good diet since I've had them about seven years. Including fruits & veggies. Can or should I wean them off this diet and try to get them to eat strickly pellets? They like ROudybush pellets but as of now, I don't think they would eat it exclusively. Any advice would be helpful. Thanks

Hi there and a warm welcome to you from those of us on staff here at BirdForum.

I must tell you though that we are a wild bird/nature forum and not for captive birds. You might try doing a Google search for captive bird forums as I know there is quite a few of them around.

Meanwhile, we'd love to hear about any wild birds you see when out and about ;)
