iPOD crazy (1 Viewer)

We have 2 ipods that I have tried Peterson's, Audubon apps on. They both seem to gag on the apps and I'm guessing is may be a horsepower problem in fact the batteries die in 10-20 minutes. These are for my wife and a friend. I run Peterson's on my Android with no problem.
They ran birdjam on the ipods for a long time but unfortunately they are out of business.

Am I likely right about horsepower or is there somethin I'm missing?

Hello Chatlover,

Do you have the same battery problems when running other networked apps? Is this an app specific problem?

Happy bird watching,
Arthur Pinewood :hi:

It is strange that the batteries are discharged in 10-20 mins. Does it happen in both Ipods and, as a Arthur Pinewood asked above, does this fast discharge happens with other apps? And how old are those Ipods?
Regarding the batteries read this https://www.apple.com/iphone-battery-and-performance
Best thing is to check that those Ipods have the latest iOS (operating system) available for them. Otherwise they should be updated.
