Watching a GSW on the feeders today I noticed that evertime a Great Tit tried to land on the feeder it was chased away but Blue Tits were tollerated and ignored. This happened several times during 4 or 5 visits by what I assume was the same GSW.

Has anyone else noticed this behaviour or any ideas why?

I did see BBC footage of a GSW even pecking at a Blue Tit on a feeder so maybe it depends what they view as competition?
