Woodpecker-like bird. At a distance and bad light, very bad pic. Some face pattern present and back appears to be olive? Doesn't really look like the species on ebird I see listed for this location

The only woodpecker with a similar plumage coloration in central Panama is Smoky-brown W.
But judging from the structure of the bill and the graysh "mask" around the eye contrasting with a darker malar stripe, I think it should be a PLAIN-BROWN WOODCREEPER.

I also thought Woodcreeper but couldn't match the face pattern to the many similar Woodcreeper species

As for the crest/slicked back haircut, it looks very similar to this picture
