The small car park and surronding area by the casa de boquer at the start of the boquer valley (puerto pollensa) is a regular/productive area, but they might have gone a little quiet now. Good luck.

Looks like Scopoli’s to me Mike, too long winged for Balearic although I have learnt from the many photos I’ve taken of Shearwaters, there can be distortions, reflections of light from the water and all sorts of other headaches when identifying from photos.
I am at the airport in San Francisco! About 24 hours of travel and waiting ahead so not looking forward to it. Soon be back up north Mallorca though, watching whatever migrants scraps are left over.
Mirella has found a Short-eared owl in Cala Egos. She has logged some super birds recently, just shows what working a local patch every day can produce. Mike

Hello!
Interesting walk along la Gola this morning with several fledglings everywhere, the best, a family of Firecrest on the track which goes next to the pinewood.

Still one Robin, one female Common Redstart, one Booted Eagle and again one 1st summer Night Heron at the Gommar Stream, in addition to the locals.

And still some beautiful flowers and butterflies.
Have a look to our FB and blog
