requesting advise for the danube delta in august? (1 Viewer)

Dear Birders,

I am new to birdwatching, and have never visited the danube delta before.
I am planning a surprise for my wife who loves birds ,

we have a few days to visit the danube delta in late august,
i'm afraid its a big place, and I wish to make the best of my stay (bird watchingwise),
thus I would love any advise on this subject.
i.e. where are the best places in the dd to visit, and how to reach them...

Personally I'd recommend you contact Ibis Tours, they will take you to the best places in the comfort of a 'floating hotel'.

I would suggest having a look at www.discoverdanubedelta.com. I usually trevel with them when I go photographing in Danube Delta.
Iliuta Goean is a very good guide and photographer.

I stayed in the green village resort in 2015 local guides available to take you out birding in small boats, truly amazing experience. Excellent location for birding where the delta meets the Black Sea. Secure parking for your vehicle in Murigoul. Travel by boat to the resort also good location for Lake Razim and the Babadag plateau
