I am fortunate to be able spend a day on this island as part of a cruise itinerary. Has any one done this? I would appreciate any advice re Sao Tome, including local guides, where to go etc.
I realise not many birders go here other than on tours organised by the larger companies, but hopefully someone may have managed to visit in much the same way as I am able to do so.
I have read on line, Fat birder, about the number of endemics which, apparently, are quite easy to see but can find little information about local birding trips and or Guides.
Thank you in advance if anyone is able to assist
cheers

Try to contact BirdQuest and their local tour operator (Calypso tours?). There are no birders on the island, but their tour guide can take you to places where some endemics are seen.
