..... did put this as an add-on to another post but in hindsight probably better as a seperate thread. Apologies if you already read it before.

Speckled Wood
Large / Green Veined / Small Whites
Orange Tip
Sm. Tortoiseshell
Brimstone
Holly Blue
Peacock
Red Admiral
Swallowtail
 
Hey, don't worry, Carlos... it's late.

Not a particularly good Butterfly Watcher myself, but I have seen an Orange Tip today, a Large White (my Collins Gem tells me it must be female) and some other whites.

Also came across a corking caterpillar - hairy, but not very, and dark purpley brown, with yellow (?) spots on the lower flanks. Oh, and one of those tail jobbies they sometimes have - if that's not too technical for you. ;)

Would love to see a Swallowtail, BTW!
 
Don;t honestly know - Red Admiral maybe but I thought they are mainly migrants - I think it needs someone with more caterpillar knowledge than me.
