Took this in woodland yesterday. Could only get the underside. Looks a bit like a Garden Spider but probably wrong colouring and time of year. My limited books no help.

I don't know, it's hard to get pictures of the undersides of spiders. Agalenatea redii is adult at present but woodland isn't its usual habitat.
I don't think it's Zilla diodia - epigyne doesn't look right and ones I've found so far have been small.
Doesn't look right shape for Cyclosa conica
