Monarch 7 vs NEW 2018 Viper?? (1 Viewer)

How does the current Nikon Monarch 7 10 x 42 compared to the new 2018 Vortex Viper 10 x 42 as far as optical quality, ergonomics and build quality?

Too close to call. Comes down strictly to ergonomics IMO. Which one do you prefer the feel and function of the most. Only other consideration is I believe the 7's are polycarb. body and the Vipers are metal (mag?). They both IMO represent the apex of their price point.
