Folks, I have a Phone Skope 'universal' for an iPhone 6. I have two scopes, a Swaro ATS 65 and an Alpen 788. The universal adapter is a tick too small for both of these scopes. The solution seems obvious, but I am nervous about pulling the rubber cups off. Any advice would be appreciated.

I pulled it off the Alpen - it came off easily - 'adaptor is still too small. Since the Swaro rubber did not come off easily - I stopped before I did something I may regret.
