Would I be correct in assuming this is a juvenile coot? Beak looks a bit wrong but otherwise...Location: Southern Spain, rivermouth.

Any more images? In a cursory glace it looks like Allen's gallinule! Suspect Purple swamphen more likely but doesnt look right.

Looks spot on - cracking find! If you were happy to give more details on location, I'm certain a lot of people would be interested in seeing it.
