Hi!
I am currently trying to get a grip of Yellow Wagtail subspecies seen during a trip to northern Xinjiang in May 2011. To sum up, breeding feldegg were noted in the Ebinur lake area close to the Kazakhstan border (along with some paler-necked birds that were possible not pure feldegg), breeding tschutschensis were noted in the far north towards Altai and presumed thunbergis were seen migrating through (although some of these birds showed confusing breeding behaviour).
I came across a Chinese text on Yellow Wagtail distribution in Xinjiang from the book "A Checklist on the Distribution of the Birds in Xinjiang", edited by Professor Ma Ming. I here attach a photo of this text. I don't know Chinese, but I am curious to learn what the text says and compare to my experience. If any one in this forum can help me translate I would be very grateful.
Thanks and kind regards
Alex
