Is anyone here who own this book? If yes, can you tell me whether it only include the classic artists like Audubon or also modern bird illustrators like Norman Arlott or Peter Hayman?

"This Dictionary of Bird Artists of the World includes over 4,000 entries for artists (excluding contemporary artists) who created two-dimensional portraits of birds ... With regard to which artists to include, some limitations have been chosen. Painters who are dead have been included, the living excluded." (Jackson 1999).

I've this book since Friday and it is really amazing. But I wonder that she include Leonardo da Vinci but not Conrad Gesner.
