The EuroBirdPortal is now online. It's aim is to bring together the data of all European online bird databases (like ornitho.de). It will be possible to see the movements (and possibly invasions) of species on a greater scale. The first examples are online, week by week more species will follow.
23 countries with very different databases are involved, so it will need some time until EuroBirdPortal can show real-time data. And, as always, money is a problem, too. However, hopefully the start of a great tool.
