as visitors to Nairobi know , this park is exceptional , being within the city boundaries but with an ecosystem for birds that is so diverse .

I birded with the fantastic Brian Finch a week past Sunday where we recorded 178 species in under 12 hours .

The rarity for NNP was the first record of the the Water Thicknee there , according to Brian

A privilege to be with him . 6 lifers for me !!
