I think this is a beetle of some sort. Could someone take a look and let me know what they think?

Is it a different species, race, age or gender to mine in Russia, note the incomplete upper cross band on the OP?

On KSIB it has an image for both, one with a broken strip across the shoulder and one where the stripe is complete.
