Can someone please identify this bird? My first thought was a juvenile Glistening-green Tanager, but I have not been able find any similar pics on Google. Taken near Mashpi Amagusa Ecuador in July.
Thanks
Chris

Thanks Andrew, Niels and Jeff. I think it might be a juvenile Glistening-green Tanager. The bill seems right. The Honeycreeper has a slightly decurved bill and eye is red. Its funny that google wouldn't have any pictures that match.

I don't see anything wrong with it for Glistening-green Tanager on a superficial look. On bill shape it's not Green Honeycreeper readily. And lack of dark lores, blue on the head, red eye, pale on the bill and other things eliminate Blue Dacnis.
