Hi All

Just got back from a family holiday at a friend's place in a clearing at the edge of a forest. Apart from feeding most of the horseflies there, I took some pictures and I am struggling to ID some of them. May be you can help?

First up is a Blue, it was the only one I saw that had dark edges to the upper wings. It was flitting through tall grass, feeding on the clover and I was trying not to stumble across the numerous adders. These are the only two pictures I managed before it kited away on the wind and disappeared from sight.

Thanks, Gareth

Here's one of my shots of Amanda's.

Notice on your shot also the white smudge that runs from the row of orange dots in to the black dots.
