Wood Warbler singing in an episode of Midsomer Murders the other day (an old Barnaby/Troy one), don't believe that was on location either.... ;)

Background sounds rarely recorded on location...otherwise there would be jarring breaks at every cut in the edit.

Am often amused at the rarities you hear even at televised Irish golf tournaments or the like
 
Background sounds on location on radio today: Ring-necked Parakeets the moment the Kings's Troop fired the gun for the start of the two minutes silence!
