The Toucan Ridge Ecology and Education Society (T.R.E.E.S) in the Maya Mountains of Belize, is hosting a early spring banding workshop and certification offered by the North American Banding Council (NABC). The workshop is offered from February 28th until the March 3rd and certification session on March 4th and 5th. The workshop will focus on learning mist netting extractions, ageing and sexing birds and banding. As we are in Belize we will band a variety of North American migrants as well as Belize residents.
