Birdtrack App (1 Viewer)

I have downloaded the BirdTrack App for my Android phone (AyePhone to follow later in the year apparently) and have been using it for a couple of weeks now.

It picks up your location by GPS (once you've remembered to switch it on) and it is very simple and easy to use out in the field. Previously I used to come home and enter sightings on BirdTrack on my PC but would struggle to remember everything.

I was in a very remote location this morning and the beauty of GPS came into its own. The sightings are stored and then verified and uploaded at your leisure once you get home so it doesn't burn your data up.

Fully recommend it:t:

Also quite good to find 'hotspots' near you - however, the more users will be more hotspot info - calling all androiders, get it on your phone

I used to use the browser version sporadically but not as often as I would have liked. I downloaded the app last week and used it for the first time on Saturday.

Do people report all sightings using it, or are you selective (picking up less usual birds for example)?
