Hi,

regarding the original posters question, I would probably look for sth nice used. Meostar, Nikon HGL, Zeiss Conquest or Leica Trinovid (either BA/BN or HD 8x32, the 8x30 without designation in between was so-so).

That said, there is a Trini 8x32 BA in the classifieds here for 500 or best offer...

Cameralandny is now selling the GPO Passion ED 8x32 for $312. Well worth paying $12 more than the Costco version.
